Why Use a Process?

Unlike an artist that expresses their creativity through their art, graphic designers are brought in to solve visual problems for the client. Before any design begins, the designer needs to work with the client to define the issues, understand the constraints, and develop innovative approaches. Successful designers understand the value they bring to businesses. They use the design process to create relationships with clients, ensuring they are an essential member of overall creative vision and not just a production artist.
