Instructional Systems Design*
This course provided a systematic look at the design of instruction and is the core foundation for all instructional designers. The class used Dick & Carey’s instructional model as a framework for development.
Spring 2019
EME 6226
Instructional Development & Evaluation*
This course was an extension of EME 6613, focusing on the Development and Evaluation phases of the Dick & Carey instructional model. The class emphasized storyboards and developing accessible multimedia.
Summer 2019
EDF 6401
Statistics for Educational Data*
This course provided an understanding of statistics and how to properly apply them to data. The class emphasized how to interpret the data and provide an analysis in a format consistent with researchers.
Fall 2019
EME 6607
Planned Change in Instructional Technology*
This course looked at how to plan change in an organization. In this course, we worked as a team to define the problem statement and build a needs assessment report for an organization.
EME 6705
Administration of Instructional Systems*
This course provided an in-depth look at the project management process for instructional designers. We worked as a team to build a presentation to answer a Statement of Work (SOW) for an instructional design product.

Learning, Instructional Design & Cognitive Neuroscience
This course taught us about neuroscience and how the brain and learning work together. We looked at how different parts/functions of the brain affect our senses, perceptions, memory, rewards, and creativity.
